Chris Rock’s harsh response to Will Smith’s request – Come and see

Chris Rock ironically referred in the last few hours to Will Smith’s extensive apology, which came after months of silence after the slap he gave him in the middle of the last Oscar Awards ceremony.

During a presentation in Atlanta, the actor briefly referred to the video in which Smith apologized for hitting him after the comedian made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, suffering from alopecia.

Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face”, Rock pointed out during a presentation in Atlanta.

And launched: “Everybody’s trying to be a fucking victim. If everyone claims to be a victim, then no one will listen to the real victims.”

“Even me getting hit by ‘suge smith‘ I went to work the next day, I have children,” added the 57-year-old artist. The “Suge” said so by comparing Smith to rapper Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, CEO of Death Row Records, who was convicted in 1996 of beating the late singer Tupac Shakur.

Beyond the joke, the comedian still did not refer in depth to what happened at the 94th Oscar Awards ceremony, in which the “Men in Black” actor got up from his chair and hit him after telling him to take out his wife out of his “damn mouth”.

Days ago, Smith published a heartfelt video in which he again apologized for what happened. There she confessed that she communicated with Chris by message and that he replied that he still “not ready to talk“, but that “when it is it will do it”.

“So I’ll tell you Chris, I apologize. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here when you’re ready to talk,” Smith said in a six-minute video he shared on his social media.

And he lamented: “I can tell all of you that no part of me thinks that was the right way to behave at the time. There’s not a part of me that thinks that’s the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect.”

The actor, who will not be able to attend the Oscars for 10 years, said at the time “I was confused and everything was a blur.”

“I didn’t think about how many people I hurt at the time,” he said of Rock’s mother, sister and family. On the other hand, she lamented that she had a great relationship with Tony Rock, brother of Chris, whom she described as “close”: “This is probably irreparable”.

Finally, Smith also clarified that his wife – whom Rock laughed at for being bald – had not asked him to do anything. He acknowledged that he and his “traumatic past” are to blame, as is some of his history with Chris.

“Disappointing people is my core trauma. I hate when I disappoint people. It hurts me psychologically and emotionally to know that I didn’t live up to the image and impression that people had of me. I am trying to be repentant without being ashamed of myself,” he expressed.

And he closed with a message for his followers: “I am human and I made a mistake and I try not to think of myself as a piece of shit. If you hang in there, I promise we can be friends again.”
