“Fun Vacation” at the Udaondo Museum

Within the framework of the “Fun Vacations” program promoted by the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Enrique Udaondo Museum Complex reported that it scheduled a grid with activities and proposals designed for all audiences. With free admission there will be shows, participatory tours, workshops and much more in the different spaces and rooms of the Complex.

On Wednesday, July 27, two participatory tours will be carried out: We visit the House of Pepa Galarza, the first of which is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and invites you to visit the oldest house in the province of Buenos Aires through recreational activities and recreational. Then, at 2:00 p.m., we discover the Transport Museum, where through games the oldest transports will be known and even the first plane that crossed the Atlantic.

The next day, Thursday, July 28, the day will begin with the Ancestral Dyeing workshop. Starting at 11:00, it will be taught how to make works with natural objects and dyes, recreating techniques of the native peoples in their worldview and their relationship with nature. In the afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m., Hidden Clues will be held in the Cabildo, an activity for the whole family with search dynamics in the Colonial Historical Area of ​​the Enrique Udaondo Provincial Museum Complex. The objective of the proposal is to stimulate the curiosity and attention of children in heritage objects exhibited in the rooms and in the courtyards of the Museum.

On Friday the 29th, but this time at 11:00 in the morning, we discover the Transport Museum; then, at 1:00 p.m., again Pistas Escondidas in the Cabildo and finally at 2:00 p.m., it is the turn of Identity and game, a museum turned upside down. It is a playful creation and intervention workshop aimed at the entire family group. Through the approach to fragments of history of our country, we seek to favor the development of our own identity and recognize ourselves in others, to defend our rights.

On Saturday 30, at 2:00 p.m., La Sombra que te amazó will be held, a shadow theater workshop that helps develop creative skills and learn to make shadows with the hands and body and making puppets and sets with different materials.

Closing the “Fun Vacation” activities at the Enrique Udaondo Museum Complex, the Compañía D’ Zoquetes will be presenting its work Oma y Monk. This will be on Sunday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. It is a clown and circus show for the whole family, with an eye on the game and the power of being silly. Oma and Monk will try to be two impeccable, passionate and brilliant circus artists, in the midst of concerts, dancing bags, small tightrope walkers going from suitcase to suitcase, target shooting and bubbles of all sizes.
