The edition 26 of the Lima Film Festival It started this Thursday August 4th and will be until Friday the 12th of this month. Once again, the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, through its Cultural Center, presents this annual festival that promotes the best of Latin American cinema and seeks to ensure that the entire public enjoys its content.
According to its own motto: “The PUCP Lima Film Festival brings us together. Because what the cinema united, nothing and no one can separate”, This event has contributed with its different editions so that various auteur films can have a greater presence throughout the year and thus more Peruvian audiovisual projects can be disseminated.

On this occasion, the event will pay tribute to two high-class actresses. We reveal who it is.
The renowned Peruvian actress is another of the guests of honor at the 26th edition of the Lima Film Festival. Her more than 4 decades of career and hundreds of characters performed in theater, cinema and television place her as a national reference.
The Argentine actress who has performed in theater and television will be one of the honorees in this edition. Mercedes Morán has been characterized by her interpretations that show humanity and invite her viewers to look at themselves.
The Lima Film Festival of this 2022 will have five venues for its various activities and they are:

On this occasion, more than 70 films will be presented during the 9 days of the event. It is important to specify that some will be screened for free, while for others you will have to pay admission. In this opportunity, two free admission master classes will be offered. However, it is important to specify that these are subject to local capacity.
Mercedes Morán master class. The Argentine actress will be accompanied by Grapa Paola, director and actress, as well as Joana Lombardi, Peruvian screenwriter and director. This talk will take place in person at the Blue Room of the CCPUCP on August 6 at 11 in the morning. It will also be broadcast on social media.
Master class by Yvonne Frayssinet. The Peruvian actress will meet Joaquín Vargas Acosta, film and theater director, and Mónica Domínguez, an actress from our country. The talk will be presented in the Red Room of the CCPUCP on August 11 at 9:30 p.m.
