New Chery Tiggo 4 PRO: launch in Argentina, from US$26,290

Chery continues to renew and expand its range in our country. To the Tiggo 4 2.0 and 1.5 launched in 2020 and 2021 respectively, this new variant of the PRO line is now added, as a more refined and exclusive option within the brand’s portfolio.

In addition to some specific design details -especially in the interior-, it stands out for offering a higher level of comfort and safety, as well as the new 147 hp 1.5 turbo engine for the top-of-the-range Luxury version.

The new:

It is a new variant derived from the Tiggo 4 but more hierarchical, which is added to the Chery PRO range, with a superior positioning within the B-SUV segment.

Aesthetically, it is aligned with the latest products presented by the Chinese march, with more marked and three-dimensional lines. In the front sector, the grille with a diamond-like chrome lattice is striking, which differentiates it from the conventional Tiggo 4, as well as the bumper, which has a new frame for the fog lights, with chrome details. It also has projector headlights and an LED light signature for daytime running lights. The imitation air intakes at the ends of the bumper give it a certain sporty air together with the 17 or 18-inch graphite gray alloy wheels. His profile shows straighter lines, with a fairly high waistline. Like all SUVs, it has black plastic protections on the underside of the bodywork and the wheel arches along with the simile aluminum roof bars.

Inside doors it does look quite different from the Tiggo 4: the PRO version has a dashboard with a more modern and sporty design, with digital instruments and a new 10.25” floating tablet-type touch screen located in the upper part of the console central. Below are the rectangular air vents and the air conditioning touch screen. The Luxury version also adds two-tone coatings.

For its part, the Luxury version is equipped with a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine that develops 147 hp at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque between 1,750/4,000 rpm, coupled only to the CVT automatic transmission with Eco and Sport modes. They all have front-wheel drive.
